make fun)
Anything my grandmother baked is worth eating – trust
me. This is great for the holidays.
Ingredients:
3 cups sugar
1 cup salad oil (I use regular vegetable oil. I have no idea what salad oil is, but it’s
how the recipe was written).
3 eggs
3 cups flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups pumpkin
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground cloves
Directions:
Beat oil and sugar until well blended. Beat in eggs one at a time.
Add pumpkin and blend.
Add sifted dry ingredients and blend.
Pour in a greased / lightly floured tube or bundt pan.
Bake in a preheated 325 degree oven for 1 ½ hours.
Let sit 10 minutes before removing from pan.
